Get your fill of turquoise water, pine-tree hills and white sand at Cala Llonga

Finding a comfy, sandy beach in Ibiza that’s not full of guys trying to sell tickets to clubs is no easy feat.

Luckily, Cala Llonga exists and is the answer to all of our prayers. Located halfway from Ibiza centre and Santa Eularia des Riu, it has all you could possibly ask for to spend a wonderful day: water sports, banana boats or diving lessons, several restaurants, little charming bars, shops and a beautiful landscape.

For those who like snorkelling, both sides of the cala are rocky so if you swim around a bit, you’ll be sure to see some colourful little fish and other cute sea friends. The shallow waters are also perfect to sit in, leaving your head out of the water, which looks kind of creepy and funny at the same time, but it feels just amazing.

You can reach this Cala easily by bus, car or ferry. There are ferries that connect Cala Llonga with Ibiza, Santa Eularia, Es Canar and even Formentera. The buses connect Cala Llonga with all the main towns on the island and the best nightclubs, so you have no excuse not to step on the dance floor after a perfect day at the beach.

Families, couples, friends, you and your favourite book… Everyone’s welcome at this friendly beach resort!
