Talamanca is one of the first beaches that become popular in Ibiza. Located 2 km from the centre, and just a few hundred metres from the port and Pacha, this is the perfect spot for those of you who don’t have much time or just prefer to stay in the area.
The fact that it’s close to the city doesn’t mean that it’s less beautiful than other calas. Quite the contrary! Talamanca has everything you can imagine when you think of a true beach paradise: soft white sand, crystal-clear water, beachfront restaurants and even famous beach clubs where renowned DJs keep the party going every afternoon.
As soon as you arrive in Talamanca beach (there’s a parking lot right in front in case you get there by car), you’ll see two restaurants where you can eat or have a drink. The first, Bar Flotante, known for its fair prices and relaxed style ( you can go barefoot and enjoy the sand on your feet). The second, Hostal Talamanca is mythical and charming. It’s ideal for a relaxed breakfast looking out at the sea, their delicious seafood tapas or for enjoying one of their delicious cocktails made with natural fruits.

If you continue walking, you will see plenty of restaurants, mostly specialized in Mediterranean cuisine. Eventually, you’ll reach the beach clubs like Bikini by Cathy Guetta, among others. The area ends at Sa Punta Restaurant which offers a spectacular menu and beautiful sea views. Behind it is the impressive Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort, but it’s not accessible from the beach, so it’s better to get there by car.
To give a bit of a better idea, the entire cala is almost a kilometre long, the perfect distance to stretch your lazy legs and combine exercise with refreshing breaks in the water along the way. There’s always a chill and happy atmosphere on the beach with families, people playing sports, nudists, groups of friends, boats on the horizon and a radiant sun inviting you to enjoy it to the fullest.
