Summer has arrived, and it has arrived in style. Temperatures have risen and we have no choice but to take refuge in beaches and coves to escape this heat.
So if you are also one of those who like to take the backpack, the cooler and, above all, an umbrella to spend the day in a hidden and paradisiacal cove, take paper and pen because we tell you which are our favorite beaches in Ibiza.
Of course, as they are secret, some are not easy to access and you will have to walk a little. But it’s worth it, we promise.
These are the 10 secret coves of Ibiza that you can’t miss this summer.
Port de Ses Caletes

In this small cove, easily accessible, you will not only enjoy a nice swim, but also maintains some of the houses where fishermen used to leave their boats, so you can immerse yourself in the seafaring culture of the place.
If you go, we recommend you bring a picnic to spend the day, as there are no services nearby.
Cala de’n Serra

In the area of Portinatx you will find this cute cove. To get there you have to follow a winding path, so we advise you to wear good shoes and carry flip-flops in your backpack .
In addition, it has a beach bar, so when you arrive, you can have a cold beer as a reward.
And if it is very crowded and you prefer exclusivity, from the cove itself you can access another small beach which can only be reached by swimming.
Aigües Blanques
At the foot of a cliff we find this secret cove of shallow waters.
Its name means white waters, and it is a very open beach, where the wind creates intense waves and, as a result, the beach is covered with sea foam, leaving the water completely white.
Despite its beauty, we recommend you always see the warnings and the weather report, because when the wind blows we do not advise you to go, as it could be dangerous.
However, on a calm day, it becomes a small oasis full of beauty and nature.
Llentrisca Cove

If you like spectacular views (and that give a bit of vertigo, let’s not fool ourselves) you have to visit Cala Llentrisca. To get to this hidden beach in Ibiza, you’ll have to walk about 600 meters along a rocky path, but it’s worth it.
Once there, you can enjoy a day surrounded by pine trees, rocks and, above all, a beautiful seabed, as in the area there are many divers. So if you have snorkelgoggles don’t forget to take them.
Es Niu de s’Aguila
This is perhaps the most difficult beach to access, as you have to walk about ten minutes from the cove of Ses Bosques to get there.
The path is beautiful, as you will border a cliff and cross dozens of rocks. The reward is not only to be able to reach this remote cove of Ibiza, but the path is also worth it by itself.
Of the beach we have little to say, other than that it is spectacular. It is about 100 meters long and four huge rocks emerge from the water. It will be difficult to find such a beautiful landscape on the island.
Don’t forget to bring water and an umbrella, as there is no natural shade in the area .
Es Canaret
Can you imagine arriving at a beach and its only access is through a house? If you go to Es Canaret you can live this magical experience.
It is one of the best coves in Ibiza. It is located in the north and its access is not at all intuitive, as we will have to walk a little to get there and then go through a house, whose owners have enabled a passageway to reach it.
A place that very few know, but it is worth it if you are looking for tranquility and exclusivity.
Caló des Moltons
If you are looking for a small beach where you can sunbathe all day and enjoy a quiet swim, Caló des Moltons is the place you should go.
It is a cove only 20 meters long and 20 meters wide, surrounded by cliffs and pine trees in case you ever need to rest in the shade.
Mastella Cove

In this small fishermen’s cove you can enjoy a nice day at the beach with crystal clear water.
It has a small pier where you can find traditional boats and a fishing area, where, depending on the day, you can even see the nets used by fishermen.
Olivera Cove

If you prefer to spend a day at the beach in a hidden and intimate corner, but without having to sacrifice having a soft drink or a beer at a beach bar in the afternoon, Cala Olivera is your place.
There are usually few people, so you can enjoy the peace that the island provides. And maybe you will find a nudist or two.
Xuclà Cove
This beach, just 30 meters long, offers all the comforts for a day of sun, sand and water.
Here tradition and modernityare combined , as there are still small fishermen’s buildings, along with a beach bar where you can eat or just have a drink.
Of course, we recommend wearing footwear suitable for entering the water, as the seabed is rocky.
