Among the cliffs of Cala Llentia, hidden in the southwest of Ibiza, stands a monument that very few know about and that we believe is worth visiting .
It is the work of Australian artist Andrew Rogers “Time and Space”, commissioned by the founder of Cirque du Soleil and is part of the international art project “Rythms of life”, a set of large-scale installations spread over 16 countries in the middle of nature.
The work is a set of 13 basalt columns brought from Turkey and placed in a circle following the proportion of the Fibonacci sequence . The tallest, in the center, is topped with 23-karat gold leaf that shines with the last rays of the sun.

About the work, there are several interpretations, some say it is a sundial and others that it is about the solar system, with the sun in the middle. Although there are also some more mystical ones that emphasize the connection between time and space.
In addition, Time and Space is called in many ways, as the Ibizan Stonehenge, the monoliths or even the parking sign for UFOs, due to its monumentality in the middle of nowhere, and precisely because of this, we believe it is one of the secret jewels of the island that do not appear in all the guides and that you must visit.
