It was last year’s sensation, and it is for sure the new great option to enjoy the most authentic Ibizan country lifestyle.
Located strategically close to the centre and offering stunning views of Dalt Vila, the sea, and the lush green hills—yes, they have it all—Casa Maca offers cozy luxury, an immersive contact with nature, and an ideal environment to relax, forget about the world and enjoy the little pleasures of life: the sun in the face, the golden sparks of the sea on the horizon, the fresh breeze next to the pool in summer, or the smoky aroma of the fireplace in winter. This is life. And Ibiza is all about enjoying it.
It’s a hotel. A restaurant. A social meeting point for events. And, it’s a part of the history of the island. The main building is a 300-year-old former farmhouse that has been restored taking care of its architectural heritage. And the garden breathes the essence of the island, too. Almond, olive, fig, lavender, and carob trees plantations surround the house.
You can tell that Casa Maca wasn’t improvised at all. Each detail expresses it was thought and executed following the kind voice of experience. The ones behind the formula are—nor more nor less—than the beloved Mambo brothers, owners of Café Mambo, Savannah, Cala Gracioneta, Hostal La Torre, and Bondi, among many other successful venues, besides being amazing DJs.
The chef of the restaurant is the prestigious David Reartes, and both hotels guests and visitors can enjoy his specialties for breakfast, lunch or dinner at the beautiful outdoor terrace, all made with organic ingredients and under the farm-to-table concept, mixing current culinary trends with traditional Spanish recipes. The winter daily menu costs 18,00€ from Mon-Friday and it is served from 1-4 pm.
Every time I went there, I had a great one. The ambiance; the flavours; the people; the golden light; and the incredible views… It all becomes magically tuned.
