3 walking trails to fall in love with Ibiza

Amazing wherever you look
There are as many ways to explore the island as there are paths along the mountains, fields, and caves.

Ibiza is a treasure that you never end discovering. Even the Ibizan people don’t know a lot of places in their natal home like hidden spots to see the sunset, breathtaking landscapes, and mythical routes.

Today, we share with you 3 hiking trails especially recommended to nature lovers, restless photographers or adventurers longing for new horizons:

Es Canar – Sant Carles

The north of the island is perfect to slow down, walk around and connect with nature, at the same time you get to visit some famous spots. This route has a length of 12 km and it takes 3 hours approx. to make it. Starting from Es Canar beach and ending at Sant Carles’ church, you will enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Santa Eulalia’s countryside, passing by Cala Nova and Cala Llenya (both very nice beaches to take a break and a bath) and “Las Dalias” hippy market. Check out more information about the hippy markets, here.

Atlantis & Torre Des Savinar

Atlantis is famous for being a secret spot on the island, and it truly deserves a visit. Close to Cala D’Hort, this old sandstone cliff was cut out to extract stones that were taken to Sant Antoni and Dalt Vila, creating perfectly-shaped stairs, huge platforms and rocky pools of crystal-clear water to chill in. Very close to Atlantis is the popularly known as “Torre del Pirata”, from where you can appreciate the views of Es Vedrà.

Cala Llonga – Roca Llisa

Departing from Cala Llonga, this beautiful route will take you up and down the hills for approx. 1 hour until you reach the wonderful lookout of Sol D’en Serra.

For sure, this article will keep growing with more routes and interesting plans to enjoy Ibiza’s nature at its best, but I hope you love these routes as much as I do.
