If you are crazy about the music and not only about the electronic beats, this is a great plan to take a break from partying and enjoy a cultural dose after such an intense week.
This Sunday 15 July at 9 pm is the premiere of the new female jazz quartet Las Femmes in the cultural centre of Can Jeroni. The talented women behind the instruments are the Valencians Anna Moreno (flute), Joana Sales (bass), Angela Pozuelo (drums) and the Ibizan Elvira Ramón (piano). Their show “More than Jazz” offers a repertoire consisting of the Suite Nº1 for flute and piano, written by the French composer Claude Bolling.
“The show starts with a classical music style that flows into a jazzy fantasy”, says his producer Juan Ballester, which makes the program particularly interesting. This will be the first performance of the band on the island, brought by the production company Just 4 You. It lasts one hour approximately, perfect to dine before or later at any of the restaurants near Can Jeroni in Sant Josep.
