Located on the west side of the island in the municipality of Sant Josep de Sa Talaia, this is one of the best-preserved and most beautiful villages in Ibiza.
Sant Agustí des Vedrà is so small that it won’t take you more than 15 minutes to walk around. However, the plan to visit Sant Agustí is ideal if you’re just looking to relax and stay for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or some fresh cocktails. While you’re there, enjoy the views of the church from the charming terraces of the bar and restaurant of the village: Can Berri Vell and Bar Can Berri (believe me, they weren’t creative with the names, but the food is truly fantastic in both).
The bars are both located in houses dating back to the 17th century. The bar looks tiny from the outside, but has beautiful gardens inside with tables under the shade of the orange and pomegranates trees. The menu combines international cuisine with local products and recipes of Ibiza. During the summer they also have a BBQ menu and terrace open for the meat lovers.
The sunset is my favourite moment to go there, as the golden light creates a magical atmosphere combined with the smell of the flowers and pine trees. The church, built in the traditional style with limestone and painted in white, it is a perfect example of the Ibizan countryside and it’s breathtaking beauty.
. . . . . #theartofslowliving #momentsofmine #postitfortheaesthetic #storytelling #ibizasecrets #pursuepretty #carnetdevoyage #traveldiaries
