Christmas is just around the corner and here we tell you all that you need to know to enjoy the last days of the year to the most.
Like it or not, the streets smell sweeter, the shops are already dressed in red and gold, the pine trees are standing tall and shining, and the illusion is floating in the air… It’s Christmas time!

ICE-SKATING RINK
Make Christmas great again! Located in Plaça Antoni Albert I Nieto, the tickets will cost only 2 € and they last for 30 minutes. Can it get cooler than this?
Opening hours:
Until 21 December
- Monday to Friday from 5 pm to 10 pm
- Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 11 am to 2 pm / 5 pm to 10 pm
From 22 December to 6 January
- Every day from 11 am to 2 pm / 5 pm to 10 pm
Special dates:
- 24 and 31 December, from 11 am to 2 pm
- 1 January from 5 pm to 10 pm
CHRISTMAS MARKETS
If you’re looking for some gifts or nice ideas to decorate your house, here’s where you should go:
VARA DE REY
The famous market in Ibiza town offers several stands with decoration, food, artisan gifts and souvenirs.
Opening hours:
- Every day until 6 January from 11 am to 2 pm/ 5 pm to 10 pm
Special dates:
- 24 and 31 December: 11 am to 2 pm
- 25 December and 1 January: from 5 pm to 10 pm
PLAÇA DEL PARC
Just one block from Vara De Rey, in Plaça del Parc you will find another artisan market held by the “Asociación Es Juvert”.
Plus, they will offer different activities and workshops including a cooking class to learn how to cook the traditional salsa and Christmas cake or coc pagès.
Opening days:
- 7, 8, 9, 21, 28, 30 and 31 December, and 2, 3, 4 and 5 January.
CASA MACA
From the 13 to the 16 December, enjoy the Christmas Market and all it offers: vote your best tree, Santa’s Grotto, Mince Pies, Glühwein, gingerbread men, food stalls & Christmas carollers.

LAS DALIAS IBIZA
The special Christmas Market will be open from 14 December to 5 January. Las Dalias, which needs no longer introduction, will shine brighter these days. And, just to remember, the winter market is open from November to March, every Saturday since 10 am.

MUSIC CONCERTS
This year, music has a special place too in the celebration. The chorus “Amics de La Música” will perform across the streets of the city departing from Vara De Rey and singing a beautiful repertoire on Monday 17 December at 8 pm. And, on the 24 at 12 pm, Iván Domenech and Joan Barber will perform “micro concerts” in Vara de Rey too.
