Prices in Ibiza are sky high. Right now, the island suffers from a serious problem of access to housing. Therefore, in order to alleviate the problems arising from this crisis, the City Council of the municipality of Santa Eulària des Riu will offer a grant of 5,000 euros to its neighbors to facilitate the purchase of a first home.
The grants may be requested until August 8, 2025 and are limited to residents of the municipality of legal age. The requirements to apply for them are diverse, such as being over 18 years old and having been registered in Santa Eulària for at least 4 years, or 5 in the case of having lived in the municipality for the last 8 years.
Neither can you be a homeowner, except in cases of legally separated or divorced couples, and the price of the house can not exceed half a million euros, excluding taxes and management fees.
These aids, which aim to facilitate access to housing, are part of the municipal plan “Santa Eulària Crea Futur” and include other measures such as rental aid or programming to attract back young talent.
