Can Salinas, also known as “Manuel, El Rey de la Fideuà” is a charming and typical restaurant situated in a gorgeous environment, facing the salt pools of Las Salinas and just 3 minutes from the beach.
Here, the paella tradition is still alive thanks to Manuel, the founder of the restaurant and first one to introduce the fideuà in the island (seafood dish originally from the coast of Valencia which is similar to paella, with noodles instead of rice). Valencian of birth and Ibizan of heart, he carried the know-how of these irresistible recipes in the blood, following the steps of his grandfather. Nowadays, it is his daughter, Carmela, who continues with this family ritual, feeding the cravings and the souls of those who visit Can Salinas.
In front of the restaurant, you can see the salt mountain and the ponds where flamingos and a number of typical birds usually are, as well as the best sunsets in the area. Strategically located between the airport and the beach, this is THE place to go before or after a good party to keep the energy running through your body.
