Welcome to the Madina Yabisa Interpretation centre
Discover how Eivissa looked like during the Moorish period.

The Madina Yabisa Interpretation Centre is located inside the Curia, a historic building in the town of Dalt Vila, which used to be the original headquarters of the Court of Justice in Ibiza back in the 16th century.

Its thick stone walls were built as the old Andalusian style, keeping the memories intact of one of the most significant places of the old Muslim city during the Middle Age, and enhancing the significant contrast to the modern technology and design of its spaces.

Although the museum is relatively small, the tour is very interesting, since most of the content is audiovisual, which gives a lot of dynamism and fun to the experience. Visitors enjoy different multimedia contents showing how was the everyday life in those days, highlighting a fantastic scale model that represents the historical evolution of Ibiza.
