Mal del Cap Festival comes to an end with fantastic events this weekend

The fifth edition of “Mal del Cap Narratives Mal Dites” ends this Saturday and the last days of the festival are on fire!

Tonight, Thursday 15th November starting at 7:30 pm, the controversial and infamous YouTuber Esty Quesada—better known as “Soy Una Pringada”—will give an explosive conference at Can Ventosa. In her talk, she will review the trash culture and her career as a YouTuber, and share with the audience how has been her experience as the director, scriptwriter, and actress of her own series: Looser.

And, on Friday 16th at 8 pm, the popular musician Fermín Muguruza, leader of Kortatu and Negu Gorriak, will present his filmBlack is Beltza” at the cultural center of Can Jeroni in Sant Josep. The plot is about how in 1965, “Pamplona’s troupe of giant figures is invited to parade in New York. But due to racial discrimination, the American authorities will ban their participation”. For all those who grew up with his music, for sure it’s gonna be a special night.

In addition to these super events, the projection of the short films continues at Centre de Creació Jove C19 in Ibiza, in which about 500 students have participated. And, finally, on Saturday 17th the winners of the Festival will be announced and receive their awards at Can Jordi with a big party where Josele Santiago, ex-member of Los Enemigos, will give the last concert.

Bad boys and girls… Don’t miss it!
