We love writing about beaches, especially the ones that are hidden and hard to find. S’Estanyol is surrounded by cliffs which makes it a secluded paradise – nothing but you and the waves. The water is just perfect; transparent and there’s no need to stress about slowly entering to adjust to the temperature.
Vibe
Due to its lowkey status, S’Estanyol is usually very quiet and peacful. The main crowd that it attracts are locals who know the island and in some cases celebrities who are looking for that tranquil isolation away from hoards of tourists. This is the perfect beach if you’re looking to unwind, relax, be alone with the sound of the ocean, the birds and your thoughts. However, the one drawback is that it might not be the most entertaining beach for children, as it’s quite small and it doesn’t have water sports options. If you come after 5pm, you’ll find the weather is cooler and there’s lots of shade from the surrounding trees.

A very quick trip of only 10 minutes from Ibiza Town, click here for its location.

Food/Drinks
Cala Bonita is the little chiringuito that you can find right on the beach, and it’s every bit as beautiful as its name suggests. You’ll find great food, a laid-back atmosphere and delicious cocktails (how good do those gin tonics look below). Find out more about Cala Bonita here

Amenities:
As mentioned above, it’s pretty much just the sand and sea at S’Estanyol and maybe a few deckchairs if you’re lucky. It does make a great place for snorkeling because there’s apparently some underwater caves!
Secret Ibiza Tip:
This beach is a mix of sand and pebbles, so be wary and bring some sea shoes if you don’t want sore feet!
