On Sunday 23rd of September, over 35 bands of all styles and nationalities will gather on 4 stages to play their music for locals and tourists of all ages at Cala Llonga beach.
This amazing worldwide event attracts musicians, artists, and volunteers from all over the world that freely give their time to organise a music festival raising funds for the Playing For Change Foundation.
This foundation provides music and primary education, humanitarian aid such as clean water, solar power, food, medicine, clothes, books and school supplies for underprivileged children in economically poor countries, as well as tools and training to support micro-enterprises.
Until now, the lives of more than 16,000 children and community members have been improved, and the funds raised on Sunday will help over 2000 children across 11 countries.
Besides the bands on the different stages, there will be a kids’ area with shows and entertainment for children and families, street-food markets with a wide variety of international and typical Ibizan food and, as usual, the hippy market, open until late in the night where you can get clothes and all kinds of souvenirs to remember this happy, meaningful day.
