Today begins the 3rd Women’s Week at the club Diario de Ibiza
Today, Monday 4 March at 7 pm, don’t miss the opening act of these 3 days full of interesting activities at the club Diario de Ibiza.

Conferences, screenings, awards, and surprises, all dedicated to honour the women. The full program is the following:


7 pm – Opening Act. Participants: Judith Romero, Insular Director of Equality at the Consell de Ibiza, Vanessa Parellada, Councillor for Social Welfare at the Council of Formentera; Azucena Carrasco, Technician in Social welfare; Angela Asorey, from the Es Molí D’Eivissa association, and Fina Riera, Director of Events at Diario de Ibiza.

7 pm – Presentation of the comic book “Idiotizadas, un cuento de empoderadas” and conference by Raquel Córcoles, artistically known as ”Moderna de Pueblo”. She will be signing books after the event.


10 am – Youth Workshop on Gender Violence organised by the Tres Social association (winner of the Culturama 2018 award for Social Innovation in youth). Alex Vide and Judith Romero will lead the presentation. Forum Theatre on gender-based violence.

6 pm – Ibicine. Screening of the documentary: “Baltasar Samper: El ritme amnèsic” (duration 1 hour). Click on the link to watch the trailer of the documentary.

7 pm – Ibicine Round Table: “La actualidad de la mujer en el mundo cinematográfico”. With the participation of Victoria Morell, directora del documental; Luís Ortas; Majo Cardona; Pablo Alcántara, director of Pauxa Producciones, and Helher Escribano, director of Ibicine. Moderator: Laura Tur.


8 pm – Inauguration of the exhibition Mujeres Guerreras‘. A homage to the outstanding women of the island and the women in the history of art by Raquel Brushwood.


7 pm – Urban Art Project ‘Tribute to Women‘ with Jerom, Aida Miró, and TwoFlü.

8 pm – Final Award Ceremony held by the Dones Progressistes association
