Going on a holiday in Ibiza requires a mandatory day at one of the many beach clubs on offer. The best part about them is you can make what you want of your day there – whether you go for a chill afternoon or stay after the sunsets to start your night early, there’s something for everyone. Weve made a list of our 5 favourites with some information that you might like to know, to help you make a decision about which place to go to first.
Based off its name, Sunset Ashram is one of the many places to catch Ibiza’s breathtaking sunset. It tends to get pretty busy, so we recommend reserving a sunbed/table (whatever you prefer) ahead of time. There’s self-service food available during the day and table service at night, there’s great drinks and a DJ that plays after sunset. We’ve written about this beach club in our article about where to find the yummiest cocktails in Ibiza, so have a read to find out more information.

As with Sunset Ashram, we’ve also written about Kumharas in our yummiest cocktails in Ibiza article, so again refer to it for a more indepth description of the place. Overall, this place is the quintessential hedonistic hangout, that embodies a truly boho, chilled, hippy vibe. Located in San Antonio, it boasts to be another great spot to watch the sunset and the strawberry daiquiri’s are to die for!
El Chiringuito is the crème de la crème of beach clubs – it has everything you could possibly want and more! Located on Es Cavallet Beach, it has a gorgeous aesthetic and interior design of light wood, white fabrics and an overall nautical theme. For the parents out there, there’s a designated area called Little Chiringuito that’s perfect to leave your kids to play in. Pleased customers have boasted great service, good food (kids menu as well), drinks and super comfy giant beds to lounge on that’ll have you feeling completely re-energized and refreshed. You’ve probably heard of this place before, right? Nikki Beach is a famous chain of decadent, luxury based beach clubs with locations in cities such as Dubai, Miami, Saint Tropez, Bodrum, Mallorca, Barbados and many more. Knowing Ibiza’s reputation, it’s no wonder Nikki Beach decided to open in the city, it’s the perfect environment for a thriving, glamorous establishment that’s known for being home to many VIPs. Their speciality is sushi, so if you’re a seafood lover make sure you try some!
Cala Bassa Beach Club
Cala Bassa Beach Club is one of our favourite places to hang out! It’s vibe is unmatchable, the beds are comfy, its on one of the prettiest beaches in Ibiza (Cala Bassa) and the food is absolutely amazing!
