Located around the entire island, these little pieces of paradise are one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Up in the air, way before getting off the plane, you can already see them. However, you have to wait until you are landed to make that jump that is crawling out of your mind. Some of them are big and crowded; others are tiny and hidden among pine-tree hills or deep cliffs. Whatever style you prefer, here’s a list of the beaches that you’ll love to visit when coming to Ibiza:
Cala Comte
Located on the west side of the island, Cala Comte is THE place to be if you’re looking for the best sunset spot. Every day, hundreds of tourists and locals say goodbye to the sun with a warm applause while it sinks into the sea. It offers spectacular views, turquoise and shallow waters, and charming beach restaurants with terraces and sunbeds. If you’d like to know more, keep reading here.
Platja D’en Bossa
The longest stretch of beach in Ibiza is the most famous one, and not only because of its geography. Close and equally distant from the city and the airport, Platja D’en Bossa boasts some of the biggest clubs such as Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Club, Hï Ibiza or Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, where every day there is a different themed party hosted by the best international DJs. There is more info in this article.
Cala Salada & Saladeta
Located on the northwest side, and only 10 minutes away from Sant Antoni, these twin beaches are a bit smaller than Cala Comte, but having a big time is guaranteed. Surrounded by pine trees and rocky walls that are ideal to snorkel around, they offer spectacular views (sunset addicts, take note), calm waters and a fun atmosphere. You can check out our exclusive article about them, here.
Cala Llonga
And now, it’s time to explore the east side! The shallow waters of this charming beach make it great to practice water sports or just admire the scenery. Close to Santa Eulària and half the way from Ibiza, Cala Llonga has everything you might need to spend a full day of fun in the beach: restaurants, markets, bars, sunbeds, and lifeguard. Find more info and pics, here.
Cala Sant Vicent
Finally, we go to the north side of the island to complete this tour around the best beaches, and it’s the glorious turn of Cala Sant Vicent. Why? The beauty of its surroundings and the chill atmosphere of the north are something you won’t want to miss. But it’s not all quiet! There are plenty of activities available such as paddle, kayaking and diving, plus restaurants and bars. So, enjoy the drive and have a wonderful day at the beach!
